30 Boards-Painting #10

8 x 8 in. Oil on board 1/11/2016

Sometimes someone does something for you that completely blows you away with their kindness. I was gifted 30 boards for this project by a dear friend of mine. Not only did I receive the boards, they came in a handmade bag sewn by my friend. It was full of such character that no matter how much I wanted to grab those boards and start to prepare them, I could NOT untie that KNOT before documenting it. I was in a pickle cause I REALLY wanted to paint it ON one of the boards in the bag but that would take days and I just didn't have the time. So I found another board that I had already prepared for a larger painting and went to Home Depot to have them cut it for me. My circular saw is busted at the moment and I was determined not to have to fight with those little canvas panels for this one.

Once it was cut I big fat smiled my way out of Home Depot like a little school girl. Ha! I figured it out AND now I have two small panoramic views for another day. Win win. It's the little things. :) I cannot thank this friend enough. The support I've received has been amazing. Thank you to everyone who has been cheering me on. It's wonderful to feel I'm creating a little family and to have friends want to be a part of the process. When you want something bad enough, the whole world conspires to help you get it. Truth.
